Cult alternative indie rock medieval prog band, Aysar Capys (from the Etruscan "God Hawk") had short life and wide activity or long life and small activity, as you wish... One EP, one (big) concert, one let-down record contract, a shit load of interest around the world, mentions in all official Joy Division websites for the "Love will tear us apart" anti-nazi cover. The main trail was to arrange medieval music in a rock-ska-reggae-prog way: it was lots of fun and the band drank streams of assentium. Lukily the original demos (1997-1998) were found intact so they will be distributed worldwide digitally, let's see what happens. Aysar Capys were asked many times to play big gigs and festivals but due to the different commitments of band members they could only play once, in Milan @ Palavobis and never again. There's a video of that gig, more a private footage we'd say, hope one day some label will be able to give digital birth to that as well.
Message from Aysar Capys: "among band's fans there were (and still are) medieval music lovers, dark or punk addicted, rockers... what can we say? Thank to you all!!! We're sorry because we've never been able to keep the band properly on: we've had big talks about reunions and new recordings (today it would be a far more rock-electronic band!!!) but time is our enemy, it disappears like water under the sun..."
