  Born in Mbackč (Senegal) in 1974, Mayoro soon became involved in music until he joined the "Orchestre Régional de Diourbel" for two years.
After a few experiences as a solo artist in Mbacké, he decided to boost his career by moving to Dakar, where he had the chance to open Youssou N'Dour gigs and to place a song ("Africa") in "Senegal folk" compilation.
In 2003 Mayoro started composing the songs that today are collected in his first official album "Begg Dem", released by Ethnoworld.
