Gli Aksak Project propongono musica del mediterraneo e dei balcani, con strumenti tipici quali oud, santur, tambura... uniti a sonorità legate al mondo del jazz (sax, contrabbasso). Obiettivo del progetto è intraprendere un viaggio immaginario attraverso le culture ed i popoli del Mediterraneo alla ricerca dei punti di incontro tra due "mediterraneità" che, nel corso dei secoli, si sono spesso reciprocamente contaminate: l'Oriente e l'Occidente.

Aksak Project  proposes music from the mediterraneum and the balkans, with typical instruments such like oud, santus, tambura... together with a jazz sound due to sax and bass. The goal of this project is to undertake an imaginary journey through the Mediterraneum, looking for the contaminations in between Eastern and Western cultures.
