Nati nell'Aprile 1999,gli ON pubblicano il loro primo album "ACQUE"
nel Gennaio 2000, segue poi "ON Live" registrato in apertura
agli inglesi HAZE nell'Aprile 2000, nel Marzo 2001 il secondo album
intitolato "1+1=2" e nell'Aprile 2002  l'EP "16 minutes", tutti
autoprodotti; nel Marzo 2003 il gruppo firma un contratto con la
casa discografica milanese "ETHNOWORLD" e nell'Ottobre 2003 viene
pubblicato l'album omonimo "ON" il quale raccoglie 13 brani,
reinterpretazioni di brani già contenuti nei vecchi demo
della band, ora mixati da Gianni Prudente (già con Battisti,
De Andrè,PFM,Banco del mutuo soccorso,Battiato..)e masterizzati da
Alan Goldberg (già con Yes,De Andrè,Fossati,Area,Demetrio Stratos..).
Il sound del gruppo è orientato verso il Rock, la Psichedelia
e l' Elettronica, senza però tralasciare la musica classica...
Sono stati definiti dai giornali "gruppo multimediale" dato
il loro impegno in altre forme d'arte quali pittura, scrittura,
fotografia, e per l'interessamento per la composizione
di colonne sonore per documentari, film, cortometraggi,
realizzazioni teatrali, etc…
Nel Dicembre 2000 sono comparsi come ospiti sulla compilation
della casa discografica statunitense 20to20soundesign;
presenti con il brano "Into the clouds" (contenuto anche in "1+1=2").
Positivo è stato il giudizio della stampa sia da parte
dei quotidiani che da parte della critica specializzata,

Born in the April 1999, the "ON" publish their first album "ACQUE",
 in the  January 2000, then follows "ON Live"
recorded at the “AURORA THEATRE” (near Milan, Italy)
the 29th April 2000 as supporter to the English band HAZE,
 in March 2001,the second album called “1+1=2” and in the
April 2002 an EP called "16 minutes",all this records was self-produced.
In the March 2003 the band sign a contract with the italian record
"ETHNOWORLD" that will publish in September 2003.The album contains
13 song and was mixed by Gianni Prudente (who worked with many italian
artitists like Battisti,De Andrè,Battiato..)and mastered by
Alan Goldberg(the enginer that worked with Yes and many italian
artitists like Area,Demetrio Stratos, Battiato and many more..)
Their sound experimentations go back to the musical scene
of the seventies to the current one .....
Their album "ACQUE" was presented the I° March 2000 in one
of the most famous art-premises in Milan "LE TROTTOIR"
( in the opportunity a exhibition of paintings and a book
"Advices, aphorisms for a next less shady future"
by Filippo Bressan were also presented, the all one
 introduced by the writer ANDREA G. PINKETTS), then followed
the live-set in MILAN at “LEONCAVALLO” and at "BINARIO ZERO"
(one of the the most important music club in Italy),
the opening for the English group "HAZE", and several performances
 in the north of Italy.
Their second album “1+1=2” was presented with a performance live,
 Saturday 7 April 2001 at the “BINARIO ZERO” in Milan.
In the December 2000 the "ON" appeared, with the track
"Into The Clouds" (also available on “1+1=2”), on a compilation
called “2220 REFLEX 2000”, by the “20to20soundesign” CHICAGO’s label.
From an Italian newspaper, 1st-March-2000:
[...] Strange and interesting the album "ACQUE" ( on the cover
the painting "Jewish Child" by Filippo Bressan ). The seven tracks,
 in order, "GRACE" by Zotti, "EMPTIEST OF FEELING" by Zotti-Marinaro,
 "IN SILENT" by Zotti, "PLANETS" by Marinaro, "ON" by Bressan,
"SPAZI" by Zotti-Marinaro and "OFF" by Bressan, approach the
maddest Burroughs’ "Cut Up" to sonorities almost borrowed
 by the most free Roger Waters, the one of "THE WALL" and
"AMUSED TO DEATH". A proposal, not banal at all and decidedly
not commercial, destined to who wants really "to listen to",
created by boys who look too serious to be not credible.
